BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Following a National Weather Service briefing Monday morning, the Morgan County Emergency Operations Center reports wind gusts will be a concern over the next several days.
“Expect winds to increase start Tuesday afternoon. This will cause high risk to outside fires across the area Tuesday through Thursday,” according to the weather briefing.
While there is some chance of rain Wednesday it current forecast is for minimal amounts less than an inch. There is also a chance of tornados developingin the area.
Morgan County Emergency Services is asking everyone refrain from burning during that time period.
