HAGERSTOWN, MD — Police in Hagerstown say a man was followed and targeted before he was shot in the neck near the 500 block of Frederick Street Thursday (January 29).
Officers were called to the scene just after 9 Thursday night. They learned the victim had been shot through the neck and had run into an aquaintance’s home until EMS could get there. He was then transported to Meritus Medical Center for treatment of what police are characterizing as non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the man had been followed by two people from around the area of the 200 block of Frederick and was shot near the intersection with Memorial Boulevard.
