Coolfont Fire from Washington County MD Fire Calls FB Page

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — The main building at Coolfont Resort will be a “complete loss,” according to Berkeley Springs Volunteer Fire Company Chief James Steiner.
Steiner confirms to the Panhandle News Network that crews were out most of the night battling the fire at the historic Morgan County resort after the call came in late Sunday night.
Just before 8 a.m. Monday, he said firefighters were being called back out to battle hot spots.
While the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time, Chief Steiner confirmed there were no injuries to anyone on scene, including from more than two dozen local fire and rescue teams deployed to fight the two-alarm fire Sunday night.
