A special task force, along with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the office of the State Fire Marshal, and the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crimes task force are working together to bring justice and find closure.
With the investigation still ongoing, they are offering the award to anyone who provide information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Staff Sgt. Young’s death.
The $35,000 awards consist of three contributions, $20,000 and $10,000 were donated by anonymous citizens and $5,000 was donated by the State’s Fire Marshal’s Office.
