BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Morgan County Sheriff KC Bohrer says his department is looking into other incidents this morning after a social media threat to Berkeley Springs High School was revealed.
“We became aware of a social media post this morning from an adult stating that a Juvenile was bringing a weapon to school. Law Enforcement and school officials immediately began their investigation and deemed the threat to not be credible. At this time (11:30,) there is still no credible threat whatsoever to students at BSHS,” according to the statement.
“Law Enforcement has identified a possible connection between the social media post and an out of school incident that occurred last Friday evening. Law Enforcement is continuing a thorough investigation into this separate incident,” Sheriff Bohrer says.
MCSD is being assisted by West Virginia State Police.
