BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Prospective voters and community members are invited to the FDR Dinner Friday hosted by the Morgan County Democratic Executive Committee.
Morgan County Democratic Executive Committee Chair Jim Hoyt was a guest on Thursday’s Panhandle Live.
He talked about this year’s slate of Democratic candidates in the state:
The dinner, named in honor of the late President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, is set for September 6th at 6 p.m. at the American
Legion Post 60.
Among the candidates scheduled to be on hand:
Thornton Cooper, candidate for West Virginia Secretary of State
Steven Wendelin, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives
Glenn Elliott, candidate for U.S. Senate
Alyson Reeves, candidate for West Virginia House of Delegates District 89-Western Morgan
Deborah Stiles, candidate for West Virginia Commissioner of Agriculture
The dinner will be held in the American Legion building at 527 North Washington Street in Berkeley Springs. He says the American Legion is non-partisan but is allowing the group to use their building for the event.
