MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Two people died of gunshot wounds at a Martinsburg residence Monday.
A news release from the Martinsburg Police Department indicates the two men found dead were the only people involved in the incident.
One man was found inside the residence at 326 E. Burke Street and the other outside near the backdoor.
“Based on the current investigation, we believe that the two male victims were the only individuals involved in this incident. We also believe there is no ongoing threat to public safety related to this shooting,” the news release said.
The shootings were reported at around 3 p.m. Monday.
