BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — The mother of a missing Berkeley Springs teenager says Angel Turner left her phone, her dog, and her medicine behind when she disappeared sometime in the early morning hours of Saturday August 3rd. Angel lives with her dad, who realized she was missing Saturday morning:
Her mother, Carrie Michaels tells The Panhandle News Network neighbors reported seeing two separate vehicles around the property Thursday of last week.
K-9 units were deployed to the property and since Saturday morning, a missing poster has been circulated thousands of times online. There’s also a Facebook page called “Help Find Angel Turner.”
Carrie Michaels said she believes someone groomed her daughter.
Michaels says she and Angel’s dad had taken steps to limit the ways Angel could be online. Investigators are looking at any devices they know Angel might have had access to.
She wouldn’t run away, according to her mom.
Her mom says they don’t know which direction Angel was taken, pointing out the proximity of Interstates 70 and 68 as well as Rt. 522 near Berkeley Springs.
Angel Turner is 15. she was last seen August 2nd in the Fairview Drive area of Berkeley Springs.
She is described as a white female, 5 -01 and 260 pounds. She was last reportedly wearing a white t shirt, black shorts and white sneakers.
