BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — At this week’s meeting of the Town of Bath council meeting, the proposed one percent sales tax ordinance was passed.
It will reportedly go into effect in January of next year.
Also Ron Gardner was appointed interim Chief of Police. A search for the permanent replacement for Police Chief William Carper is ongoing.
Carper resigned late last month.
