BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Following the resignation last month of Berkeley Springs Police Department William Carper, the Town of Bath is expected to present a motion to appoint Officer Ronald Gardner to the role during tomorrow’s Town of Bath Council meeting.
No word was given on the reason for Chief Carper’s resignation. He has served as the police chief since March of 2023.
