BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Rewards are being offered in the case of vandalism to property at the site of Rt. 522 Bypass work.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department reports the crime to Trumbull Company property occurred over the weekend of June 8th.
Several pieces of heavy construction equipment were vandalized, and two-way radios and helmets stolen from Trumbull resulting in several thousand dollars in losses, according to Morgan County Sheriff KC Bohrer.
“A witness saw two people of four wheelers in the vicinity of the crimes around 3 a.m. on the 10th. (Sunday night into Monday Morning,)” Bohrer reports. “These symbols appeared on many vehicles along with slang and derogatory terms.”

Anyone providing information leading to an arrest could receive a reward of up to $ 2,000 from Trumbull and up to $ 1,000 from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department.
