ANNAPOLIS, MD — Maryland’s primary is today.

Even though the presumptive nominees for president have already been decided, voters are being called upon to choose their nominees in nine congressional races.

The race for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Senator Ben Cardin tops the watch list and all eight U.S. House seats are in play, including three open ones.

National Convention delegates the Democrat and Republican parties are on the ballot, as are some judgeships.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time.
