SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. —Long-time Eastern Panhandle delegate John Doyle reflected on the legacy of fellow house member, educator, and Jefferson County Commissioner Dale Manuel who passed away earlier this week at the age of 74. Doyle says the two were colleagues since the 1970s

Doyle Spoke about Manuel as a person.

Manuel taught at Wright Denny Elementary in Charlestown for 32 years which Doyle said shaped his demeanor as a legislator.

Doyle spoke about the issues Manuel focused on later in life.

Doyle says he and Delegate Manuel were instrumental in finding funding for Washington High School.

Doyle was a guest on Panhandle Live Wednesday morning, heard weekday mornings beginning at 9:00 on the Panhandle News Network.
