BUNKER HILL, W.Va. — A bridge off Giles Mill Road will be closed for a month beginning next week.
A notice from the West Virginia Division of Highways says the Bunker Hill Mill Bridge on Giles Mill Road (County Route 26) in Berkeley County, will be closed 24 hours a day beginning Monday, February 19, 2024, to allow for reconstruction.
The closure will be located approximately 0.9 miles southeast of the intersection with Winchester Avenue, US 11, according to the DOH.
Work is expected to take about a month.
Signs will be in place to warn motorists.
Motorists are advised to use Quarry Road, County Route 26/2, and Cheshire Road, County Route 51/8, to detour around the project.
