HARPERS FERRY, W.Va.  — A weekend event in Harpers Ferry will feature some of the last area residents impacted by Storer College.

Catherine Baldau, Executive Director of the Harpers Ferry Park Association talked about “Bringing It to Life and Putting It to Bed”: The Beginning, Impact, and End of Storer College” which will include an Alumni and Expert Panel to Discuss the Legacy of Storer College. She explained why it’s time to talk about this legacy.

Baldeau gave a brief history about Storer College.

Mrs. Baldeau talked about the event location and its history.

The event is this Saturday at noon and will be held at the Stephen T. Mather Training Center in Harpers Ferry.
