MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The Eastern Panhandle’s only Catholic School only goes to grade 8 – for now.

This week, Saint Joseph School in Martinsburg announced their administration has received permission from Bishop Mark Brennan to explore the idea of expanding to also offer a high school, or at least grades 9 and 10.

Saint Joseph School has released a link for the survey.  It can be found at their website, sjswv.org under “News and Announcements.”

The announcement comes following the news that nearby St. Maria Goretti, a Catholic high school in Maryland will be closing.
