BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — A Martinsburg man is dead following a crash on Route 9 Thursday morning in Morgan County.
Morgan County Sheriff KC Bohrer says his department responded to the head-on collision on Route 9 East at 7:43 a.m.
31-year-old Joshua Catlett of Martinsburg was driving a 2021 Honda Kona . He died as a result the crash. The driver of the second vehicle, a 2019 Ford Escape, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported by EMS for treatment.
WV 9 was shut down for some time so the investigation could be completed and the roadway cleared.
The injured individual’s name has not been released.
The accident is still under investigation.
