WILLIAMSPORT, Md. — The body of the man wanted in connection with the murder of a Maryland judge was found Thursday.
Authorities said the body of Pedro Manuel Argote, 49, of Frederick, Md., was located near Williamsport, Maryland, not far from West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle.
Argote was wanted in connection with the Oct. 19 shooting death of Judge Andrew Wilkinson.
Wilkinson was gunned down in his driveway not long after he ruled against Argote in a divorce proceeding.
According to a Facebook post from authorities, Argote’s body was found in a “heavily wooded area between Clear Spring Road and Bottom Road.”
There was no immediate word on cause of death.
Argote’s vehicle was found in the Williamsport/C&O Canal area last weekend.
Wilkinson will be remembered in funeral services Friday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Hagerstown beginning at 10 a.m.
