BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — The 48th annual Apple Butter Festival in Berkeley Springs drew in thousands of visitors over the weekend.

There were also hundreds of vendors from food to beer to handcrafts and the ever-popular apple butter kettle, which had a line of folks waiting to take a turn at stirring.

A social media post from Jim Chittock, President of the Berkeley Springs-Morgan Co Chamber of Commerce, expressed gratitude:

“As we take down the tents and open the streets I want to take a moment and thank the countless volunteers and community partners who make this festival happen. Each year, hundreds of people from our community come together to spend countless hours planning and executing this ever-growing festival. Without them it simply wouldn’t happen.”

He said the 48th was “a huge success by every measure!”

A reminder for Parade Winners – you can pick up your trophy at the Chamber of Commerce.
