BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — An organization that provides meals and help to folks in Morgan County is getting ready for a big fundraiser.
The Empty Bowls fundraiser benefits Morgan County Starting Points takes place this Friday in Berkeley Springs. Here’s Starting Points Executive Director, Audrey Morris:

Morris explained how the fundraiser works:
Morris said she is grateful for the community support to feed the hungry in Morgan County, especially as food costs have risen significantly this year. The Mealtime Community Kitchen serves no-cost meals three times each week help those challenged by food insecurity.
Empty Bowls is the primary fund raising event of the year. It’s set for Friday September 22nd from 5-7 p.m. at the Berkeley Springs American Legion.

In addition to the back-to-school events, the Backpack Program provides weekend and holiday food to children.
