HAGERSTOWN, MD — The Hagerstown/Eastern Panhandle Metropolitan Planning Organization has released the map of its proposed Pedestrian and Bicycle Network Recommendations from Draft Regional and Bicycle Plan.
The plan is currently out for public comment through June 18th and can be viewed at local libraries in Hagerstown, Martinsburg, and Charles Town.

Residents may request a copy by contacting the HEPMPO office, located at 33 W. Washington St., Suite 402, Hagerstown, MD 21740. Business hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

In addition, three public meetings on the draft studies will be held back-to-back throughout the area beginning with the Draft Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan at 5:00pm and followed with the Draft Regional Freight Plan at 6:00pm: (1) June 1 – Martinsburg Public Library-Martinsburg Room, (2) June 5 – Washington County Free Library Hagerstown-Conference Room 334 and (3) June 8 – Charles Town Library-County Commission Meeting Room. A formal presentation will be posted online and given at the public meetings.
