BURLINGTON, W.Va. – The Division of Highways has announced some traffic changes coming up in the next week.
There will be a new traffic pattern at the intersection of Flowing Springs Road and Mountain Laurel Boulevard, in Jefferson County, beginning Monday, April 24, 2023. The intersection will be changed to an all-way stop based on the results of a recent study. Motorists should watch for flaggers during the changes and allow extra time to travel through the area. The entrance ramp onto Interstate 81 northbound from WV 9, at Exit 16, in Berkeley County, will be closed from 8 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2023, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023, to allow for the placement of high mast electrical poles.
