MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — It’s a chance for students to learn, even after school lets out for the summer.
Berkeley County Schools has announced registration is opening soon for their Summer SOLE Program. SOLE stands for “Summer Of Learning and Engagement.”
Registration for PreK-8 Students Opens Mon., Apr. 17th!
It’s set for June 12th-July 12th
There’s no cost to participate for Berkeley County Schools students. Transportation is provided from specific transportation hubs in the county.
The program runs for five weeks, Monday through Thursday of each week from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
An announcement from the school system describes Summer SOLE as providing “academic focus with social/emotional learning activities.”
Select elementary/intermediate school locations will host students currently in grades PreK-5.
South Middle School will host students currently in grades 6-8.
Transportation hubs are offered and free school breakfast & lunch will be provided.
Students should register based on the grade level they completed in the 2022-2023 school year.
