WILLIAMSPORT, MD – A vehicle was pulled from the Potomac River Wednesday morning in the area of Duck Island between Maryland and West Virginia.

Just after 8:30 a.m., crews responded to the report of a partially submerged vehicle in the area of Raging River Road near Falling Waters.

Boats from the Washington County Division of Emergency Services and Berkeley County Fire investigated the vehicle and determined it to unoccupied.

Investigators with the Washington County Division of Emergency Services and Berkeley County Fire believe the occupants “exited the vehicle on their own and are not injured.”
