MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – The Shepherd Rams Football team is coming off the back of one of the most successful seasons in program history.

Finishing the season with a record of 13-2(6-1 in the PSAC), making it to the NCAA Division 2 National Semi-Final, and starting quarterback Tyson Bagent took home the Harlon Hill Award.

With all of those accolades and accomplishments, that is going to get a lot of eyes on you.

It was released yesterday (8/6) that Shepherd has been picked as the favorite to win the PSAC East in the 2022 season, receiving four of the eight first-place votes.

Rounding up the top five in the PSAC East Preseason Rankings are Kutztown, West Chester, Shippensburg, and East Stroudsburg.

The Rams kick off the season on the road in Connecticut as they take on the Southern Connecticut  State University Owls on Thursday, September 1st at 5:30 pm.
