MARTINSBURG, W.Va — DeJuan Neal is a name that Shepherd Football fans will remember. Neal was a cornerstone of the Rams defense from 2014-2018.
He served as a team captain in his senior season and gained first-team All-Conference and third-team All-Region honors in 2018. Neal also wrangled up 103 solo tackles over his career.
After Shepherd, DeJuan Neal was drafted and signed a contract to play in the USFL with the New Jersey Generals. He made a big impact, gathering up 14 tackles (11 of those this season) – but Neal won’t be getting any more USFL action this year.
It was released, by his agent, that DeJuan Neal has signed with the NFL’s Washington Commanders.
The Commanders signed CB DeJuan Neal, per his agent @seanstellatoses.

Neal steps into a defense that had a tough go of it last year, even with high expectations coming out of the off-season. Keep an eye out in the pre-season for Neal to make his move.
