After weeks of will they or won’t they, the Cleveland Browns finally have traded former Heisman Trophy winner and number one overall pick Baker Mayfield.

Mayfield finishes his career as a Cleveland Brown with 14,000 passing yards, 92 touchdowns, and 56 interceptions. Baker wasn’t always doom and gloom, leading the Browns to their first playoff appearance since 2002 and their first playoff win since 1994.

The rift between Mayfield and the organization reached no mend once the Browns traded a king’s ransom for the controversial Deshaun Watson. Watson, who has a real possibility of being suspended for the full 2022 NFL season, has numerous sexual misconduct allegations against him.

With Mayfield now in Carolina, you can expect the win total to go up for the Panthers. I am a firm believer in Baker Mayfield as a good, but not spectacular starter at the NFL level.
