MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Berkeley County Sheriff Nathan Harmon is having a get together.
On Saturday, May 21st, the parking lot will be filled with activities and community resources for families, and Sheriff Harmon says he’ll be giving tours.
He’ll have a variety of first responder vehicles on display and for the parents, there’ll be a mock up of a teenager’s bedroom aimed at helping parents identify signs of substance abuse.

Harmon says the Community Day event on May 21st will cap a week long recognition of Law Enforcement Appreciation Week and will be a rare chance for the public to see where he and his team work.
Harmon says a variety of community partners, including the Martinsburg Initiative and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Eastern Panhandle are helping round out the event, which is set for Saturday May 21st from 9 to 3 in the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department Parking Lot at 510 South Raleigh Street.
