MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A man lost his life in a hit and run in 2018.
Now, fresh information has the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office looking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest.
The incident occurred September 4th of 2018 at the interstection of Edwin Miller Boulevard and Warm Springs Avenue. Mike Kilmer Jr., who was riding a motorcycle, was killed in the crash at the intersection,
A man was seen leaving the area in a Ford F-150 with a blue and gray two-tone paint scheme. The truck is described as having 4 doors, a diamond plate toolbox in the bed, and a chrome push front bumper guard. Based on the length of time since the incident, the sheriff’s office says there may have been additions or deletions of items on this vehicle.
Investigators have also released a sketch of the person they would like to talk to regarding the incident.
