BURLINGTON, W.Va. – There will be alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 81, from mile marker 7.5 to mile marker 12, in Berkeley County from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday, March 20, 2022, through Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
The closures will allow for pavement milling. Speed will be reduced to 55 miles per hour. Motorists are advised to stay alert and travel with caution through the work zone. Exact schedule is weather dependent.
