CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. — Some students aboard a Jefferson County School Bus suffered minor injuries Friday morning when another vehicle backed into their bus.
Jefferson County Schools Public Information Officer Hans Fogle tells the Panhandle News Network it happened in the Orchard Hills Subdivision.
Three students on board Bus 20-11 were transported by emergency responders to Jefferson Medical Center for what Fogle describes as minor injuries.
The other students were transported from the scene by parents or guardians.
” Jefferson County Schools is grateful for the quick response of our emergency responders, who work tirelessly with us to keep our students safe,” Fogle said.
