BURLINGTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that I-81 northbound will be reduced to one lane from the Virginia State Line to mile marker 1.8, near the rest area. The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Thursday night, March 3, 2022. Motorists are reminded to stay alert and travel with caution through the work zone. This lane closure is necessary for pavement repairs. Exact schedule is weather dependent.
