U.S. Marshals searching for Martinsburg fugitive

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — The U.S. Marshals Service Mountain State Fugitive Task Force is looking for the public’s help catching a fugitive.

Johnathan Jennings, 24 of Martinsburg, was placed on bond with home confinement on March 25 for a first degree robbery charge.

On April 18, Jennings cut off his GPS ankle bracelet and fled his home. U.S. Marshals believe Jennings is still in Berkeley County. He also has ties to Washington County and DC.

Jennings is described as a 6’0″, 300 pound black male. He has brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos on his left and right forearm as well as his left and right shoulder.

Jennings is also known as “Sumo” and could be involved in the drug trade.
